Okay, so, I’ve been collecting football cards for a while now, and this year, I got my hands on the 2023 Panini Spectra Football set. I was pretty pumped about it! First, I had to get my hands on a box. I looked around and finally found one. Man, these boxes are not cheap, I spent a good 1000 bucks on it. It’s a bit of a splurge, but hey, gotta treat yourself sometimes, right?
Then came the fun part – opening the box! I carefully ripped it open. Each pack is a little mystery of its own. My heart was racing a bit, hoping to get something really good.
Digging into the Packs
I started pulling out the cards, one by one. The Spectra cards are pretty slick, they have a cool, modern design. They look way better than those older ones. I went through each pack, taking my time to check out each card. Some common players, some rookies, you know, the usual. But then, bam! I pulled an autograph card. That got me excited. I kept going, hoping for more of those. Found some other autograph cards in the box.
- Autograph Card: Pulled one pretty early on.
- More Autographs: Got a few more as I went through the packs.
Building the Checklist
After I got through all the packs, I had a nice little pile of cards. I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down each one. I wanted to make a checklist so I could see what I got and what I was still missing. So I looked up “2023 Football panini spectra Card Sets” and found some good set checklists and compared to what I got.
I started writing down each card, organizing them by player, team, and type. It took a while, but it was kind of therapeutic, you know? Just me and my cards, making sense of the chaos.
Looking for Rare Ones
Once I had my basic checklist, I started looking up the rare ones. You know, the ones that are super hard to find and worth a bunch. I wanted to see if I got lucky with any of those. I searched the web for a 2023 Spectra Football checklist. I looked up each card in my set and compared to the checklists I found.
I didn’t find any of the super rare ones, but I did get a few that were pretty uncommon. That’s always a nice little win. I found one rare one, which was a surprise!
Trading and Collecting
Now that I have my checklist all sorted out, I’m thinking about trading with some other collectors. It’s always fun to swap cards and try to complete the set. Plus, you get to meet other people who are into the same hobby. It’s a good way to connect with folks.
So yeah, that’s my experience with the 2023 Spectra Football cards so far. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m still not done. I’ll keep collecting, keep trading, and keep enjoying the thrill of the hunt. It’s a fun way to spend my time.
