Okay, here is my experience about the Valley Lanes Family Entertainment Center:

Yesterday, I was thinking about having some fun with my family. I wanted somewhere to go with my family, so I took my phone and looked it up on the internet. I found a place called Valley Lanes Family Entertainment Center, it seems like a good place, offering all kinds of entertainment. So I decided to give it a shot.
We drove to 5021 Bay City Road in Midland. That’s where this place is. When we got there, I saw it was a pretty big place. It’s got everything under one roof. They’ve got bowling, a place called Gimmick’s restaurant, and this VIP lounge thing. So, I parked the car and we went inside.
First thing we tried was bowling. They have like 32 lanes, so there are a lot of people playing there. They’ve got this fancy scoring system with animations and stuff, so it looked pretty cool. We bowled for about an hour. Even my youngest kid had a blast, and they have these bumpers for kids so the ball doesn’t go in the gutter.
So Much More Than Just Bowling
After bowling, we went to check out the other stuff. They have this 18-hole miniature golf course. I wanted to take my kids to play it, but my kids were interested in the arcade, so we didn’t play it. I guess I’ll try it next time.
- They had a ton of arcade games, a flight simulator, racing games, and the old-school pinball.
- My kids spent about 30 minutes just playing those games.
- There are also some pool tables, but we didn’t get to those.
We got hungry, so we headed over to Gimmick’s restaurant. It’s a nice, casual place. We ordered some burgers and fries, nothing fancy, but it was good, and it filled us up. The service was pretty quick, too. We didn’t try the VIP lounge, maybe next time, it’s not the right place for kids.
All in all, it was a fun day. We spent about 3 hours there, and everyone had a good time. It’s a great spot for families, especially if you’ve got kids. There’s something for everyone, and it won’t break the bank. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the Midland area and looking for something to do. We’ll for sure be going back there again.
