That Zayn, he sure is something. I heard he used to be in one of them boy bands. What was it called? One…One something…Oh, One Direction, that’s it! He was a young’un then, all hair and skinny jeans. Now he’s all grown up, singing his own songs.
He was on that X Factor show. I seen it on the telly a few times. Bunch of kids singing their hearts out. Heard his grandad passed during that time. Poor boy. He got a tattoo for him, a crown. They say his name, Malik, means “king” in some language. Fancy that!
He’s from a place called Bradford. Heard it’s in England. He’s got three sisters, Doniya, Waliyha, and Safaa. He was always singing, that one. Now look at him, famous all over the world!
They say he’s a big star now, that Zayn. Sings about love and all that. One of his songs is called “Entertainer.” It’s about some girl, I reckon. Heard he’s got a way with the ladies, that one. Smart boy, though. Keeps them at arm’s length, I hear. Doesn’t want to get too tangled up.
He left that One Direction band, you know. Went off to do his own thing. They say he’s doing alright for himself. That Harry Styles fella was in the band, too. Heard he’s selling more records than Zayn. That Harry got a new album, “Fine Line“, sell a lot. More than 470 thousand, they said! And Zayn‘s new one, “Icarus Falls“, not so much, only 25 thousand. But they both doing good.

He’s got that look, that Zayn. The kind that makes the girls swoon. He’s a charmer, that one. But he’s got talent, too. You can’t deny that. He can sing, and he can write songs. He’s got the whole package.
They say he’s a big deal in the music world now. Makes all sorts of music. Heard he’s got a lot of fans. Millions of them, all over the world. They buy his records and go to his shows. They scream and shout and cry. It’s a crazy world, this music business.
