This Jaylen Warren, I hear folks talking ’bout him for their fantasy football teams in 2024. Well, let me tell you what I think, plain and simple.

Jaylen Warren Fantasy Outlook 2024
That boy, he’s got some moves, I’ll give him that. Last year, 2023, he did alright. Heard he got over 1,000 total yards and four touchdowns. Not too shabby for a young fella. But this fantasy football stuff, it’s all a gamble, ain’t it?
They say he’s gonna do good this year. I heard someone say he might get 233.1 fantasy points. I don’t know ’bout all that. He runs the ball good, I reckon. They say maybe 923.4 rushing yards this year. Lordy, that’s a lot of running! And 3.9 touchdowns? What’s with the .9? Either he scores or he don’t, right?
They say he catches the ball good too. Something like 70.6 receptions, they say. And 464.8 receiving yards. Sounds like a lot of numbers to me. I just hope he don’t drop the ball too much.
- He runs the ball.
- He catches the ball.
- He scores sometimes.
But here’s the thing with these young fellas – you never know what you’re gonna get. One day they’re hot, next day they’re cold. This Warren boy, he plays for the Steelers. I hear he’s behind another fella, some guy named Najee Harris. So, he don’t always get to play as much as he wants, I guess. That’s tough. And they even put him behind some other fella named Cordarrelle Patterson sometimes. What do I know, though?
I seen him play a few times. He’s quick, I’ll give him that. He can dodge and weave like a rabbit in a cornfield. But he ain’t the biggest fella out there. Sometimes he gets knocked around pretty good. And he’s been hurt some, too. That’s always a worry.
Is Jaylen Warren Worth It?
Now, they’re saying you should draft him in your fantasy football leagues. They say he’s worth taking in the 7th round. That’s a lot of rounds! They say he’s a flex player. Whatever that means. I just know you pick your players and hope they do good.

If you got a big league, with lots of folks playing, maybe you hold onto him. Maybe he’ll surprise us all. But if it’s a smaller league, I don’t know. He ain’t been that good, and he gets hurt. It’s your choice, but that’s what I’m thinking.
I heard some fancy expert, Derek Brown, giving advice about him. Probably knows a lot more than me. He’s from FantasyPros. Smart fellas, I guess. But it’s still a gamble. You’re betting on a young fella to do good. And sometimes, young fellas let you down.
He Ain’t Been Great So Far
I seen somewhere that in Week 1, he only got 2.0 fantasy points. That ain’t much, is it? You need more than that if you’re gonna win. He needs to step it up if he wants to make folks happy.
Look, I ain’t saying he’s a bad player. He’s got potential. But fantasy football is a tough game. You need players who are gonna be good every week, not just sometimes. And you need players who are gonna stay healthy. I just don’t know if Warren is that guy.
This 2024 fantasy football season, it’s gonna be interesting to see what he does. Maybe he’ll prove me wrong. Maybe he’ll be a star. But I’m just saying, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Especially not this one.
You gotta remember, this is just my opinion. I ain’t no expert. I just watch the games and I know what I see. And what I see is a young fella who’s got some talent, but who’s also got a lot to prove.

So, there you have it. My two cents on Jaylen Warren and his fantasy outlook for 2024. Take it or leave it. It’s your team, you do what you want. But don’t come crying to me if he don’t do as good as you hoped!
