Hybe entertainment audition, you know, that big company, BTS are all there. My neighbor’s kid, she’s crazy about them, always dancing and singing. She wants to be a star, a big K-pop star, they say.
So, this Hybe, they got this thing, audition. Like a big show, you know. Find new kids to sing and dance. They say they want kids from all over, like from here to, I don’t know, that place down under, Australia, that’s it.
They say lots of kids want in. One time, they got like, what was it, more than a hundred thousand? Yeah, 120,000 kids! All wanting to be like those BTS boys. My neighbor’s kid, she says it’s her dream. Wants to go to Korea and everything.
How to Join that Hybe Thing
- Sing a song, they like that.
- Dance, gotta move good.
- Look good, I guess. That’s what they say.
- Be young, not like me. Young, like, you know, 15, 16, up to 19, something like that, they said on website.
They got rules, too. Gotta be young, they say. Like, uh, 12 to 16 is good. 25 is like, pushing it, they told me. My neighbor’s kid, she’s practicing day and night. Says she wants to be a star. A K-pop star. They sing and dance, you know.
Hybe, it’s a big deal, I hear. They got those boys, BTS. Everyone knows them. They even went to that place, you know, the White House. Can you believe it? And they got other groups, too. Like, uh, Tomorrow X Together, that’s what they call them.
What They Look for in that Audition
They want kids who can sing, dance, and look good. That’s what I heard. My neighbor’s kid, she’s got a good voice, I’ll give her that. And she can dance. Watched her the other day, she’s got moves.

They got those groups, you know. Boy groups, girl groups. They sing, they dance, they wear those clothes. It’s a whole thing. And this Hybe, they’re like the big boss of it all.
These K-pop stars, they’re like, famous, you know. All over the world. They sing, they dance, they’re on TV. My neighbor’s kid, she wants to be one of them. Says it’s her dream.
That Audition, It’s a Big Deal
They say it’s hard, you know. Lots of kids try, but only a few make it. Gotta be real good, they say. Sing good, dance good, look good. It’s a lot, you know. But these kids, they got big dreams.

This audition, it’s a big thing. They got it online, too. You can send a video, they said on their website. Don’t even have to go to Korea, not at first, anyway. That’s good, I guess. Easier for the kids.
All These Kids Want to be Stars
It’s a big dream, you know. To be a star. Sing and dance for the world. Like those famous folks. These kids, they see them on TV, on the internet, and they want that, too.
This Hybe, they’re giving them a chance, I guess. A chance to show what they got. A chance to be a star. It’s a long shot, but hey, you never know.
