Okay, let’s talk about this “sport r” thing, which I guess is Rugby from what I have learned. I really wanted to learn something new and interesting, so I tried it today and here’s what happened.

First off, I searched the basic rules of this sport online. Turns out, it’s not as confusing as I thought. It is a sport that requires both physical exertion and skill as the main parts, and there will be competition in an organized way, following certain rules and patterns. That sounds interesting to me! I really wanted to give it a try!
Then, I went to a local club to learn about it. The coach told me that the main idea is pretty simple. Basically, there are two teams, and each team has 15 players. The players have to compete for territory, and running past, through, and over their opponents to put the ball inside an area called “in-goal” . That’s how you score points. Sounds easy, right? The coach was patient and explained everything clearly, even for a beginner like me. He also mentioned some values of the game, which were Integrity, Passion, and Solidarity, I think I should keep these in mind when I play.
- First, we started with some warm-up exercises. I stretched my arms, legs, and back to get ready for action.
- Next, we practiced passing the ball. It’s not like a soccer ball – it’s more oval-shaped. I had to learn how to hold it properly and throw it to my teammates accurately.
- After that, we did some running drills. We sprinted back and forth across the field, practicing our speed and agility.
- Then came the tackling part. This was a bit scary at first, but the coach showed us how to do it safely. We practiced tackling each other, learning how to bring someone down without getting hurt. I did get hurt a little bit, but not a big problem.
- Finally, we played a short game. It was chaotic but fun! I tried to remember everything I learned and put it into practice. I even managed to score a try, which was super exciting!
My Feelings
Overall, I had a blast trying out Rugby. It’s definitely a tough sport, but it’s also really rewarding. I felt a great sense of accomplishment after the training session. Plus, I met some cool people and made new friends. I think I’m going to keep playing Rugby. It’s a great way to stay fit, challenge myself, and be part of a team. If you’re looking for a new sport to try, I highly recommend giving it a shot!
