Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into better shape lately, and I figured a good place to start would be to actually have some decent workout gear. You know, the right shoes, some comfy clothes, that sort of thing. So I decided to hit up a few sports stores and see what I could find. I’m going to document my whole process today.

First, I went online to a place called Macy’s. They had a pretty good selection of women’s shoes, so I browsed around there for a bit. Nothing really caught my eye, though. Everything was either way too expensive or just not my style.
Then I checked out this online sports shop that promised “fast and free 24/7 delivery.” Sounds great, right? Well, they mainly had soccer stuff. I’m not really into soccer, so I moved on.
After that, I decided to go to an actual store. I went to a Dunham’s Sports near me. They had a lot of different kinds of clothes, but I didn’t find that amazing one. It’s not bad but I still want to see more.
Since I’m out and about already, I did a little research online and found out about this brand called PRO-SPECS. Apparently, they’re a South Korean company that makes sportswear and shoes. Their stuff looked pretty cool, so I went to this place I found that was supposed to carry the brand.
It was a bit of a letdown, though. They only had a small selection of PRO-SPECS stuff, and most of it was either too big or too small for me. Bummer.
My Shopping List:
- Running Shoes: Still haven’t found the perfect pair. I want something comfortable, supportive, and stylish.
- Workout Leggings: I found a few pairs that I liked at Dunham’s, but I’m still keeping my eyes open for something better.
- Sports Bra: I found the amazing one at the PRO-SPECS store, which is really nice and supportive, just a little bit expensive.
- Workout Tops: I’m looking for something breathable and moisture-wicking. Haven’t found anything I love yet.
So, all in all, it wasn’t the most successful shopping trip. I did find a great sports bra, but that’s about it. I’m not giving up, though! I’ll keep looking until I find the perfect workout gear. It’s all part of the journey, right? Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Maybe you all have some suggestions for good sports stores or brands? Let me know!
