Well, let me tell you, I heard some folks talking ’bout this thing, volleyball game play online. Sounds kinda fancy, don’t it? Back in my day, we just played outside. But these young’uns and their computers, always on ’em. Seems like you can do just ’bout anything online these days, even play games like volleyball.

They say you can play these volleyball games anytime you want. Just gotta have one of them computer things or them fancy phones. Don’t need no net, no ball, nothin’ like that. Just click-clack on them buttons and you’re playin’. Kinda crazy, if you ask me.
I heard you can play by yourself, against the computer, or even with other folks. Like a real team but all online. Lordy, what will they think of next? All The Volleyball Moves
Now, these games, they got all them volleyball moves. You can serve, that’s like when you throw the ball up and hit it over the net. Then you got the receiving, that’s when the other team hits it back and you gotta catch it. Then there is this dunking thing, I reckon that’s when you hit it real hard. And blockin’, that is when you stop the ball coming back at you.
I don’t understand them ragdolls thingy though, what in tarnation is that? Win matches and be the champion. And what is that pointy spike thing in the middle? What is that?
And you know what? This thing, volleyball, seems like it’s a game you can play your whole life. Not just when you’re a young’un. They say even old folks like me can play, ‘cept maybe not online. I’d probably break that computer thing. You can find the volleyball clubs and local parks.
How Many Points To Win?
This is somethin’ I heard. They say you gotta get, like, 25 points to win. But you gotta win by two points. So, say you got 25, and the other team got 24, you gotta keep goin’ till someone gets two points ahead. Sometimes it’s 21 points, sometimes only 15. Depends on where you’re playin’, I guess.
These online volleyball games, they got teams, just like real volleyball. Six players on a team, that’s what I heard. But you can start with four, if you’re short a couple. And get this, they say you gotta have at least two women on the court. Always gotta have the ladies represented, that’s good. Teams may play with 1 woman, but then there can only be 5 players.

And you know what’s funny? They got this thing where you can just play one-on-one. Just two people, goin’ at it. They say it helps you get better at hittin’ the ball where you want it to go. Sounds like good practice, I reckon. You can control your shots and placement.
This online volleyball, it’s a whole different world. Kids these days, they got it easy. Back in my day, we had to make our own fun. But I guess this is the way things are now. As long as they’re havin’ fun and not gettin’ into trouble, that’s all that matters.
