This here, I heard folks talking ’bout volleyball games today. Lots of games, I reckon. Young folks sure do love to watch them volleyball.
Volleyball Games, Lots of ‘Em
So many volleyball games happening, you wouldn’t believe. All over the place, they play. They got them games where the teams are from ’round here. And then they got them games where teams come from far away, real far. That’s what I heard, anyways.
They say there be these volleyball games today. Some big shot teams playing. Hear tell it’s a big deal. They even have them on the TV, I think. My old TV is broke, so I don’t see them games.
How to Know ‘Bout Them Volleyball Games
They got these things, you know. Where you can see when they play, who play. I don’t know much ’bout them things. But you young folks, you know. You always on them phones. You can find out, I bet.
I heard some folks talking. They say you can see the scores, too. Right when they happen. Like magic, ain’t it? Back in my day, we had to wait ’til the next day, read it in the paper, if we were lucky.

How Them Volleyball Games Work
They hit that ball over the net. Back and forth, back and forth. Sometimes they jump real high. Sometimes they dive on the floor. Looks like it hurts, but they just get right back up.
I heard they play in sets. Like, they play a little bit, then they rest. Then they play some more. I think they gotta win by two, whatever that means. They gotta get to 25 points, I think. Unless it’s the last one, then they only go to 15. It’s all so confusing to me, don’t really make no sense how they count it up.
Volleyball games today, they go on for a while, I guess. Depends on how good the teams are. If they’re both real good, they just keep going and going.
Why Folks Like Them Volleyball Games
I don’t rightly know why everyone’s so crazy ’bout these volleyball games today. But they sure are. Maybe ’cause it’s exciting. Lots of action. Ball flying all over the place.
They say it’s a game of mistakes. Whoever makes the most mistakes loses. Sounds ’bout right. Life’s like that, too, ain’t it? You mess up, you pay the price.
They say there will be many volleyball games today, and people are going to watch them. They said that the volleyball match was interesting, and they would watch the match together.
Volleyball Ain’t Easy, I Reckon
Looks hard, playing volleyball. Gotta be quick. Gotta be strong. Gotta be able to jump high and hit that ball hard. I sure couldn’t do it. Not anymore, anyways. My old bones are too creaky.
They got all these rules, too. Can’t do this, can’t do that. Can’t hold the ball too long. Can’t step over the line. Lots of things you can’t do. Seems like they make it harder than it needs to be. If you make mistake, the other team gets point. Makes sense, I reckon. It’s all about not making mistakes.

They say you can’t do this, can’t do that. Sounds complicated. I remember, one time, little Timmy was playin’ out back. He hit the ball real good. But then he did something wrong, I don’t remember what. And everyone yelled at him. Poor Timmy, he almost cried.
Folks Sure Do Love Their Volleyball
All these volleyball games today, people are all excited. They talk about it all the time. Who’s playing who. Who’s gonna win. Who’s the best. It’s all they talk about, sometimes.
I guess it’s something to do. Something to watch. Something to get excited about. We didn’t have much of that, back in my day. Just work, mostly. And chores. And more work.
These young folks today, they got it easy. All these games to watch. All these things to do. They don’t know how good they got it. Well, I guess that’s all I know about these volleyball games today. Not much, but it’s something, right?
